Patty van ‘t Hooft

Patty van ‘t Hooft is a teacher and researcher at the Windesheim University of Applied Science of Zwolle, the Netherlands. She has a bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy and Physical Education and a master's degree in Pyschomotricity in which autism and swimming were the topics of her thesis. Working in the department of Psychomotricity, she teaches all water/hydrotherapy related subjects. Since 2014 she and the team of PMT Zwolle have developed, supervised and researched an aquatic exercise program for elderly with dementia called Aquamentie®. She is currently studying the impact of Aquamentie® on the Quality of Life in elderly with dementia.
